Melon to boardslide 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Will Lavigne melon over fence to boardslide in Quebec city,
I'm stoked on the full frame fish,
Flashwork is not awesome
I'm not sure about the tree on the right but I like it too,

I like it, although for the style of shot, he seems squished by the fisheye at the top of the frame.

You did everything right for the conditions, such as emphasize the fence he's jumping over, skate standard fish position, get him isolated..

...but I feel like i'm looking at a replica wanna be of the snowboard canada 2010 buyers guide cover, just with bland overcast light.

It's hard though for that kind of trick you wanna be in that position because melons and stalefishes look good, but thinking that a shot like this has already ran on a cover, i'd probably want to look for a different perspective.

Actually Jed was jumping over the staircase in stalefish, no hitting the rail.
+ in this case, he's jumping over a fence and he's jumping onto the rail,
I'm no wannabe reproducer
I felt it was the best still to do after I did some sequences of him 270 on with a long lens

Personally, I'm pretty stoked with the result even he's squished in the top of the shot,
I'm showing the action pretty well, no misunderstanding !

ya I was in a weird mood when I wrote that - no hard feelings on what I wrote the other day.

I know Jed was gapping, and this was over a little fence to boardslide. It's just the feel of the shot seems very very similar, if you know what I mean.

Plus you wanted comments so I gave you some, and you as a pro I gave you feedback that you may want to hear. Stoked to hear about those 270 shots.

maybe you could crop off a little of that landing, I think theres a bit too much space on the bottom.
