So, apparently people seem to like this one so I figured I should put it up for crit here:

-
Overcast caused blown sky
Lighting might be a bit flat
Small trail feature, but it's what we ride every day around here in Gothenburg...

+
Contrast between blurred and frozen parts of the picture. Overall dynamics except for maybe the flatness of the lighting.

Not sure about the dark tree on the left side of the picture. Looks a bit like the rider is going straight into a wall...?

Thanks in advance.

The right side looks great. lots of color, contrast and action.

the big dark spot to the left on the other hand takes a ton of the interest away. I'm a big fan of dark backgrounds, but something about the way this is divided right down the middle makes it look like some kind of bizarre sync speed problem or something. I think if ambient was just a stop brighter it would work a lot better. you might be able to pull something out of the shadows when rendering the RAW. Actually, the other thing would be to darken the rock so that it looks more even across the image.

Thanks for you comment. I see your point about the ambient and the way the division down the middle... I'll try and see what can be done in PP, at least it will be a good exercise.
