Bottom Line:
It's a really powerful flash, however it's useless at full power for action sports, and barely useable at 1/2 power. Ideally you'd want to use it at 1/4 power or less. It's also still quite expensive, at $250 on adorama. Might be an alright addition to your flash fleet, however it's big, heavy and the extra power isn't useable because of the slow ass durations.
